Graphene could replace fibre optic broadband, and be 10x faster

How the world moves on, and in a typical example, British scientists have created a composite using graphene and plasmonic nanostructures which are apparently capable of capturing light and converting it into electricity incredibly fast and according to them, tens of times faster than fibre optic, meaning that within the next 5 years we could have broadband speeds 10x faster than they are currently. Oh the miracle of science, aye? full article - TB
